Argyle Park Taxis acquired office space at Tower Quays in Birkenhead to cater for their recent growth in business. The Directors tasked Quantum2 with accommodating 30 staff into the 1,200 Sq Ft space. The board wanted to create a space for call centre, administration staff and senior management to operate effectively.
The design phase of this project required careful planning - regular meetings were held at the Q2 showroom with plans shown on the media facility - 2D& 3D plans were created by Q2 to assist with the decision making process in this project.
Argyle Taxis didn't just want to put standard desks and chairs in place for their staff - the Directors embraced the health benefits of a fully ergonomic set up. John commented "creating the right working environment for our staff is key to our business. We don't want to be in a position where our local competitors have a better place to work than us - as a business we love technology and improving the way we work.." Every workstation is electrically height adjustable and every task chair is fully ergonomic.
Fit-Out elements to this project included; re-positioning walls and building new ones, building 2 kitchens - for upstairs and downstairs, removal of old carpets for 2 floors and stairs. Replaced with a charcoal Burmatex carpet throughout - the application of orange nosings on the stairs were applied to align with the company branding.
All timescales were met with this 4 week fit-out and installation. Q2's highly trained and experienced installation team completed the flooring, fit-out and furniture installation. Deadlines were met with 100% satisfaction from Argyle Taxis
